Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Phrase Harbor website and its browser demo, operated under the ThinksView brand. Questions can be sent to smile@thinksview.com. The iPhone and iPad app is distributed through Apple’s App Store when available.

1. Website and app

This website introduces Phrase Harbor and provides a short, illustrative browser puzzle. The browser demo is not the complete native game and does not create or transfer learning progress to the app. Availability, release dates, features, languages and device compatibility may change as the app develops. A “coming soon” notice is not a promise of a particular launch date.

Use the website lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software or use the service to infringe others’ rights.

2. App license

Your use of the App Store app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a different applicable license is presented in the App Store. Apple’s terms and applicable consumer protections also apply. These website terms do not replace the app license or reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Free chapter and optional purchases

The complete Lantern Point chapter is free: six phrases, 24 story and practice situations, and unlimited revisits. The optional non-consumable Season One purchase unlocks the remaining five original chapters, 30 phrases and 120 situations. Season One is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Future expansion packs are sold separately.

Apple displays the actual purchase price, currency, taxes and availability for your storefront. The app asks you to confirm through Apple’s purchase process. Do not rely on a price copied from another country or an earlier version of a page. Nothing on this website charges you or initiates a purchase.

Use the same Apple Account to restore eligible purchases in the app’s Settings. Restoring content access does not synchronize learning history from another device. Refunded or revoked transactions may remove paid content access while local learning records remain. Family or account eligibility is governed by Apple and the product’s current store settings.

Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests. See Apple’s refund instructions. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory refund or consumer right.

4. Learning content and progress

Phrase Harbor teaches selected English phrasal verbs through stories, examples, explanations and practice. It is educational material, not an accredited course or a promise of fluency, an exam score or a certified level. Interpretations should be considered in context. If an example or translation seems wrong, please tell us.

Learning progress is stored on your device. Resetting learning, deleting the app, device failures or changing devices can affect local records. Manage device backups according to your needs. We do not offer app-level cloud synchronization of learning progress.

The learning content works offline. App downloads, purchases, restoring purchases and obtaining additional system voices may require a connection or access to Apple services. English speech depends on the voices available on the device. The app requires iOS or iPadOS 17.0 or later; actual compatibility is shown in its store listing.

5. Artwork and other materials

The name, illustrations, authored lessons, design and other materials on this website and in the app are provided for using and evaluating Phrase Harbor. Intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners. Do not redistribute the app or its artwork and teaching collection as your own product or imply that ThinksView endorses your service. Apple, iPhone, iPad, App Store and related marks belong to Apple Inc. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners.

6. Availability and responsibility

We work to keep the website useful and accurate, but it may contain errors or be unavailable during maintenance or due to network or third-party service issues. Information and the browser demo are provided as available, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability or a remedy that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Privacy, changes and contact

The Privacy Policy explains local app records, website hosting and support correspondence. We may update these website terms when the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. If you have questions about these terms or the app, contact ThinksView at smile@thinksview.com.
